About EdithWong

Edith WONG Ka Yi, Sculpture artist based in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Hong Kong Art School and RMIT, where she received her bachelor's degree in 2019. The graduation work won the Potential Graduates Group Exhibition Award (2019) sponsored by 1a space. In the same year, she participated in the "Landscape Components" art group exhibition organized by 1a space. Exhibitions she has participated in include: "Fude Style Gallery" (ACO Art Basel, 2018), "Hong Kong Spotlight by Art Basel" (1a space, 2020), solo exhibition“Type of Art" (Art school gallery, 2021), "Thinking of form” (Eslite Bookstore, 2022) etc. Currently living and working in Hong Kong. Her works use cement and other urban wastes as a medium, through transforming and reassembling，allow viewers to think of their daily experience and change their ways of seeing.

 

黃嘉怡，2019 年畢業於香港藝術學院及澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學共同授予的藝術學士學位， 主修雕塑。她的創作運用水泥及不同的城市廢棄物，透過重組和拼貼，驅使人重新檢視日 常經驗，改變閱讀「風景」的模式。
畢業作品獲1a space 贊助之潛力畢業生聯展獎 (2019)同年參與由1a space 舉辦的《風景元 件》藝術群展。曾參與的展覽包括:「富德風情館」(ACO艺鵠 ，2018)、「Hong Kong Spotlight by Art Basel 」(1a space ，2020)、「浮世 」(Art school gallery ，2021)、 「Thinking of form」(誠品書店 ，2022)等。現居住、工作於香港。
